Home Again Hits Billboard AC Chart at 21

Home Again, the debut single from Elton's upcoming Capitol Records release, The Diving Board, has entered the Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart at #21.

This marks the 69th time Elton has had a song on the chart in its 52-year history — an amount exceeding that of any other artist (the next-closest is Barbra Streisand, with 64 entries).

This is also the highest debut position of an Elton single on the AC chart since 1996, when You Can Make History (Young Again) broke in at #11. Elton's first appearance on the chart was with Your Song, which peaked at #9 the week of December 26, 1970.

The Diving Board is available for pre-order now and will be released in the US on Tuesday, September 24 (September 16 in the UK).
